ENVISION

ENVISION contributes in the achievement of CAP’s environmental objectives, offering the tools for the continuous, large scale and uninterrupted monitoring of farm management activities with regards to sustainability.

DIATOMIC Project

DIATOMIC aims to accelerate product and service innovation through electronic components, sensors, smart objects, and integrated systems in the health, agrifood, and manufacturing sectors.

GATES Project

GATES will develop a serious game-based training platform, in order to train professionals across the agricultural value chain on the use of Smart Farming Technologies (SFT), thus allowing deploying its full economic and environmental potential in European agriculture.

GEO-CRADLE Project

GEO-CRADLE lays out an action plan that starts by inventorying the regional EO capacities and user needs, which in turn leads to a gap analysis, the definition of region-specific (G)EO Maturity Indicators, and common priority needs.

KATANA Project

KATANA supports European SMEs and startups along the agrifood ecosystem to access knowledge, technology, capital and markets, allowing them to respond to market demands in a timely manner.

LANDSENSE Project

LandSense – a Citizen Observatory and Innovation marketplace for Land Use and Land Cover Monitoring – will build an innovative citizen observatory in the field of Land Use Land Cover (LULC), which collects data both actively (through citizens) and passively (from authoritative, and open access sources) and integrates them to provide valuable quality-assured in-situ data for SMEs, larger businesses, government agencies, NGOs and researchers.

RECAP Project

RECAP helps bridge the communication gap between public administrations and farmers, combining various Earth Observation (EO) tools and services into a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform to simplify CAP.

DIONE

The EU-funded DIONE project is developing a direct payment controlling instrument to direct the expected modernised CAP rule on the use of advanced technology. A machine learning-based system developed on a regional or national scale will evaluate current soil quality levels to form evidence-based conclusions regarding eventual environmental impacts on an entire region.

BEACON

The overall objective of BEACON project is to develop a commercial service package that will enable insurance companies to exploit the untapped market potential of Agricultural Insurance, taking advantage of innovations in Earth Observation, Weather Intelligence and ICT/Blockchain Technology.

Block.IS

Block.IS is a new acceleration programme that aims to build an open and collaborative cross-border, cross-sectoral innovation ecosystem that fosters the use of blockchain technology in three vital sectors for the European economy: agrifood, logistics and finance. Block.IS accelerator will support SMEs and start-ups from the ICT sector all the way from ideation to commercialisation offering them tailored business and technical support as well as direct funding.

STARTUP3

For the EU deep-tech startup scene to grow sustainably and achieve its potential impact, access to real market problems and test beds is required. Driven by real market needs, or as STARTUP3 defines it, Key Performance Areas, the project builds and facilitates an open and collaborative ecosystem for high impact deep-tech innovators and corporates and acts as a cross-border/sectoral market-maker. The project aims to generate, take up, ensure market penetration and further capitalize on the growth and impact potential of profound research by providing access to dynamic and 3-phase across the board growth support framework UPTAKE-UPGRADE-UPSCALE.
